Hi! I am Egie. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Information Systems at the University of the Philippines Open University.
For the past decade, I have served as a public servant in the field of Information and Communications Technology. My passion for learning has continually driven me to pursue professional and academic growth. More recently, I have also taken on the role of an educator for over a year. This experience further strengthened my desire to advance to graduate studies, as it deepened my appreciation for critical thinking, research, and meaningful discourse.
As an educator, I find fulfillment in sharing real-world experiences with my students. I aim to help them become resilient professionals by equipping them not only with technical knowledge but also with practical insights, guidance, and perspectives that will prepare them for the realities of the workplace.
Outside of my academic and professional responsibilities, I value balance and personal growth. I enjoy playing badminton and watching movies as a way to unwind and manage stress. I also have a keen interest in cooking, particularly in exploring and experimenting with new recipes that challenge and expand my skills in the kitchen.
